Ecosprin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting several different chemical processes within the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. It also reduces the tendency for blood to clot. Treatment of aches and pains associated with headache, common cold, and sore throat and for reduction of fever. It may be used to reduce the risk of death and lessen the damaging effects of an acute heart attack. It is also used to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes in certain men and women who have already had a heart attack or ischemic stroke. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor

You should avoid drinking alcohol, taking pain killers (like ibuprofen, naproxen, ketorolac), and the abortion pill (mifepristone) with Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's. Together intake can increase the risk of gastric bleeding and lower efficiency of Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's in preventing heart attack and stroke. Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's should not be given to the children with flu, fever, or chickenpox until the doctor has prescribed it. Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's can cause Reye's syndrome (rare but serious condition with swelling in the brain and liver common in children). Do not use Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's during the last trimester of pregnancy due to possible harm to the unborn baby. Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's passes into the breast milk and may harm the nursing infant. So tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breast-feeding mother before taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's. Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding (from the stomach/intestine), intracranial bleeding (bleeding in the brain) or, other areas of the body. Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's may interfere with laboratory tests like urine sugar tests possibly causing false test results. Make sure laboratory personnel and doctors know that you are taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's. Before taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, bleeding disorder, low Vitamin K, aspirin induced asthma, allergic to Ecosprin 75 Tablet 14's or other pain killers, kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, or going to have any type of surgery.
