Candid belongs to a class of medicines called Antifungal. Antifungals are a group of drugs that treat fungal infections of the skin and body, including athlete's foot, fungal nail infections, ringworm, and vaginal candidiasis. These medicines limit the growth of a wide range of fungi by damaging the fungal cell membrane.

Avoid putting Candid Lotion 30 ml near your mouth, lips and eyes. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (like contact dermatitis). Tell a doctor before using Candid Lotion 30 ml if you are using Framycetin and Dexamethasone ear drops as it can interact and affect the working of Candid Lotion 30 ml. If your baby is being treated for oral thrush you can continue breastfeeding. But in some cases, you might need to be treated at the same time. If you are applying Candid Lotion 30 ml on your breast or nipple try to wash it before breastfeeding your baby.
