Description:

Nicorandil dilates arterioles and large coronary arteries by opening the potassium channels and stimulates guanylate cyclase causing venous vasodilatation. It therefore reduces preload and afterload, and improves coronary blood flow.

Uses / Indications:

Fordil 5 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Angina pectoris, Acute coronary syndrome.

Side Effects:

Abscess, Decreased blood pressure, Dizziness, Fistula (abnormal connection between organs), Flushing, Headache, Intestinal ulcer, Anal ulcers, Mouth ulcer, Nausea, Rash, Tachycardia, Tongue ulcer, Vomiting, Weakness, Fatigue, Inflammation of mouth, Lip swelling
