Description:

Triben Skin belongs to a class of medicines called Antifungal. Antifungals are a group of drugs that treat fungal infections of the skin and body, including athlete's foot, fungal nail infections, ringworm, and vaginal candidiasis. These medicines limit the growth of a wide range of fungi by damaging the fungal cell membrane.

Uses / Indications:

Triben B Skin Cream is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Candidiasis Corticosteroid -responsive dermatoses Fungal infections of nappy rash Tinea versicolor Fungal infections of groin Treatment of jock itch Corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses Triben B Skin Cream may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Interactions / Warnings:

Avoid putting TRIBEN OINTMENT 20GM near your mouth, lips and eyes. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (like contact dermatitis). Tell a doctor before using TRIBEN OINTMENT 20GM if you are using Framycetin and Dexamethasone ear drops as it can interact and affect the working of TRIBEN OINTMENT 20GM. If your baby is being treated for oral thrush you can continue breastfeeding. But in some cases, you might need to be treated at the same time. If you are applying TRIBEN OINTMENT 20GM on your breast or nipple try to wash it before breastfeeding your baby.

Side Effects:

Rarely, the use of Triben Skin Cream may cause the following side-effects: dizziness fainting feeling of discomfort hives irritation Nausea pain on the affected area removal of dead skin cells (exfoliation) skin blister skin itching skin redness swelling of the lips, throat, face, or tongue weakness The following severe side-effects may also occur when using Triben Skin Cream: Severe allergic reactions Symptoms: swallowing problems breathing problems In this case, call your doctor right away. Skin tissue disorders Symptoms: swelling of the skin due to fluid accumulation, severe allergic reaction (erythema), skin rash skin burning If this happens, ask your doctor immediately. Immune system disorders Symptoms: high blood pressure shortness of breath (dyspnea) Your doctor has prescribed this Triben Skin because they have judged that the benefits outweigh the risks posed by side-effects. Many people using this medicine do not have serious side-effects. This is not a complete list of possible side-effects for Triben Skin.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Triben B Skin Cream may change.
